So, what do I do when I’m not working?

(1) Write my blog posts. I haven’t blogged real-time in a while. I have to work! In my free time, I’ll batch blog a bunch of posts and schedule them for different times of the week. This blog post was actually written on Sunday (05-Apr). By the time this is posted, I will already be up and working!

(2) Read books. The most recent one added to my list: Winners Take All: The Elite Charade of Changing the World by Anand Giridharadas.

(3) Drake’s Toosie Slide. I love this! The first ~ 34 seconds are scenes of an empty Toronto. I spent 19 years of my life in Rochester, NY. When I saw TO, I became nostalgic and thought to myself, “Aw, my family is just across the lake (Ontario).” For reference, although Rochester is in New York state, it is closer to Toronto (2.5 hour drive) than New York City (5.5 hour drive). Isn’t that wild?! (Sidenote:  I seem to have something for bordelands – I used to live near Canada and now I live near Mexico. Also, I was born and raised on an island. In all three settings, I could be near the ocean or in another country with just a drive.) Anyway,  it took me 3 watches to get a “full picture” of the video: Once for the lyrics, once to watch Drake, and the third time to look at his house. Guys, did you see that kitchen?! 😮

(4)  “What famous person would you like to have dinner with?” David Chang.

I recently watched Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner on Netflix. I’m now watching Ugly Delicious. I’m a fan. I fit the watching of these episodes in whenever.

One of my friends also recommended I watch The Platform – El Hoyo (that’ll probably be a next weekend activity or the weekend that follows or anytime I can fit it in).

(“What other person would you like to have dinner with?” Robert Reich: “UC Berkeley professor, former Secretary of Labor, Co-Founder, Inequality Media”)
